This was a wedding I shot with a great Photographer N'neka Scruggs. The Couple Jessica and William said their "I Do" at the lovely and quaint Lambert Place and they were such a great couple to photograph. I had a blast with them! The day turned out very well considering we were expecting terrible storms but, fortunately the rain held off long enough for them to say "I DO" and be taken away in their top down GA Tech ride(Big GA Tech Fans). Here are a few Images I wanted to share (well maybe a little more than a few).

Jamiya Duggan
I would like to introduce to you my niece Jamiya and today she is 2 months old!!! She was such a good baby allowing me to photograph her. This little girl is so adorable to me and not because she's my niece. Dispite her having sickle cell, she did remarkably well during her photo session. I couldn't help think everytime I looked into her beautiful brown eyes, she seemed to have an old soul spirit about herself. I'm sure you've heard the term the old folks use to say "that baby has an old soul". Meaning that baby seems a little older than what they really are in their disposition. Well this little girl has already overcome some obstacles coming into this world, she is definitely a fighter! I'll be keeping my eye on her alot more than usual..until next time! Have a great weekend everyone, I'm off to North Carolina for a wedding shoot!! Tell you all about it when I get back.

Wings & Fries Night
Yes! I Love my Friday Nights, it's sorta of a ritually I created :) but I gotta have my wings & fries. No I can't explain even if I tried. So thought I would share my hot spot I frequent. The sweet Lady that runs the place is "Mrs. Kathy" and she is a hoot! Always nice and conversational with me. Though she didn't want to be photographed I still managed to get a glimpse of her. The Gentlemen you see is a picture connoisseur himself. Normally I just wait on my order but that night we got engrossed in a camera conversation. It was quite interesting! All I can say is, I Love My Wings!

MY NEW WEBSITE DEBUT
Greetings Everyone!
I'm so excited that today is the Debut of my New Website Michelle White Photography. If you haven't checked it out, please do so right now (just kidding you don't have to stop what you're doing right now, which is reading my blog...you can do it right after you finish reading my blog :)) and make sure you bookmark my page as well as my blog. Some of you have heard me talk, cry and laugh about this website in the making and I want to take this opportunity to say "Thank You" for all your help and support. I know I probably got on your nerves asking for your opinion a zillion times, looking at colors, fonts and the list goes on and on. I couldn't have done without you.
My site isn't like alot of others with many many pages atleast not yet. Don't let my one page site fool you (lol). It's a newbie for now...it'll be growing soon, that's why you need to bookmark it and check back for all the exciting stuff I have in store.
Oh, just in case your not computer savvy my website is very easy to navigate. When it pops up, click on one of the galleries, relax and enjoy the view. It will automatically move to the next gallery without you having to do anything. Isn't that lovely! But of course, if you'd like to view a specific gallery, there's a little button that will either be at the top or bottom left side, just click it and you're back at the main page...see it's simple. I believe in KISS (Keep it Simple Sweety). Feel free to share your thoughts with me about my website, blog or anything. I appreciate you taking the time out. You can leave a comment on my blog or email it to me at michelle@mwsphotos.com
As an up and coming aspiring professional photographer I'm constantly learning, growing, learning and more growing (haha). My Xtreme Seminar is really becoming clearer to me, there's so much more to photography than just taking that beautiful photo, and BOY I am I learning that to be so true...but I'll have plenty of time to talk about that stuff later :)
Whew! I feel like I've just exhaled with all this verbiage (haha) but that's because I'm so excited. I won't overload you in one sitting so I'll close this posting by saying "Thank You" for stopping by my lil spot in this great big ole world wide web.....oh, and "Start Spreading the News"!
Cheers!

Oliver House Get-Together
Last weekend I had the chance to break bread with some wonderful friends. I had so much FUN!! Hadn't had that in a minute. Thought I would share a few of the highlights.
We definitely has some seriously good food...though you can't really see it (that's because everyone was making their plates). Marnetta (the host) really cooked up some delicious dishes (macaroni and cheese, collard greens, dressing, corn bread, baked chicken, pork ribs, fried chicken and the list goes on. Can't forget about Marnetta's famous Sweet Tea. We also had Desserts as you can see...
While some of us ate others got caught up in the Game, Georgetown vs. North Carolina...I believe Georgetown won. I wasn't really paying attention (hee hee).

There was good conversation, and a little game of Bid Whiz (I'm not really good at playing, but these guys were having fun even though they don't look like it (hee hee) Their all so serious looking. All stone face trying not to reveal their bluffing. LOL.

Then the Ulimate of the evening was a game of "Family Feud" this wasn't just any game, it had a bit of a different twist. Survey says....The questions were based on the Bible....mmmm, you might say. Well all I can say is don't knock it til you try it. It was hilariously fun. Melvin was the Richard Dawson impersonator and Marnetta was the Vanna impersonator (hee hee)

The guys were really trying to concentrate intensely at times (LOL)

While the others were quick to click their buzzer to beat the other opponent to the punch with the correct answer, in the end the winners were.... The Ladies!! But it was all in good fun!

Concert at Earthlink Live - Featuring Corinne Bailey Rae
I was going through some images and I totally forgot about a concert I went to a while back at Earthlink Live, where I saw the lovely "Corinne Bailey Rae". She is awesome and just as sweet and humble as you wouldn't expect some artist to be. It was jam packed in the standing room only, nothing but hot air and sweat!! but my $13 dollar ticket was well worth every bit of it and more!! This is definitely an Up & Coming Fast, Rising Artist who will be the talk of the town for a long while...well she actually already is, I'm just late in sharing it. If you'd like to sample her music, check out her official website at: http://www.corinnebaileyrae.net/, or visit her myspace page at: http://www.myspace.com/corinnebaileyrae . Well until next time....

Bride-To-Be
Last week, I was invited to a Bridal Shower and although I didn't know the bride-to-be that well, she was so sweet. Joanne (Bride-To-Be) is getting married in a few months and a little nervous. She was totally SURPRISED!!!! The Shower was a delight! As you can see she had plenty gifts to wish her well, words of encouragement to get her off to a great new beginning, and what's a party without good food!!! We played some really fun games with door prizes (I love prizes and gift!!) We all had lots of fun and had some great girl bonding time!! I had a blast!! Thanks Simone!!!
As you can see the Bride-To-Be was a little bashful. If you'd like to check out more click on http://printroom.com/pro/michellewhitephotography click on Engagements, then click on Joanne. Until next time....
