Hi fellow blog readers. I'm slowly but surely getting back into the blogging mood. I'm still playing catch up with my blog postings but stay tune I've got some exciting stuff coming!!

Ok, back to blogging. This wedding was shot a few months ago when the weather was a little warmer. Here are a few images I wanted to share. I shot this wedding with the awesome photographer N'neka. This was shot at The Foundry at Puritan Mill. Thanks for inviting me me to shoot with you N'neka.

Erica + Rodney Maternity Session

I'm so honored to photograph a long time client. I had the privilege of photographing their wedding, family portraits and now their maternity session. We had so much fun with this session. Erica is such a beautiful mommie to be. Hubby is also such a proud father to be too! I can't wait to photograph little rodney who is due to arrive in November. Thank you Erica and Rodney for allowing me the privilege to share in yet again, another part of your life!!! There were many favorites, but I'm posting a few.

Chicago Workshop

I wanted to post these images from the Audrey Woulard Workshop I attended last month. She is an amazing photographer who it such an inspiration to me. Here are just a few photos. Tiffany + John

This is a wedding I shot with Courtney of Flip Photography. This lovely couple Tiffany and John were so sweet and fun! They celebrated their ceremony and reception at the Ashford Club. I had such a blast! Thanks Courtney for inviting me to shoot with you! These are some of my favorites.

off to the Windy City....Chicago

Today, I'm leaving to going to Chicago! What's in Chicago you might ask? The fabulous Audrey Wouldard Photographer, that I'm very excited to meet her and take in what I know is going to be a great workshop! I have lots to talk about so stay tune!!

Tisheeka + Jeremy E-session

This is an engagement session I had with such a fun loving couple, Tisheeka and Jeremy. They will be getting married in November. I can't wait to photograph their wedding! Congratulations Tisheeka and Jeremy.

Immix Hair Gallery & Day Spa

I know, you don't have to say it..."I'm a Blog Slacker". Well definitely not on purpose that's for sure. It's been busy so that's why I'm behind in posting. I don't know quite how to start this blog posting, so I guess I'll just say it.

I receive a call Saturday from a friend of my that owns a hair and spa salon. All I can remember her saying was that Rozonda Thomas aka "Chilli" from the group TLC was coming to her salon that morning to participate in a mentoring session with a few young girls in her non profit organization called "Chilli's Crew". The organization’s mission is to assist in fostering a healthy sense of self in young women from the inside out. I was asked to photograph the event and of course I was delighted to do so and to help promote a worthy cause and organization.

These young ladies were selected to receive complimentary services by way of Immix Hair Gallery & Day Spa. Were they excited? YEP! They certainly were. I had a blast photographing this event. These girls may have come in "feeling unpretty" but they certainly left looking and feeling "Very Pretty". Here are just a few photos I wanted to share. If you'd like to see more click here. Meet a Cutie....Jonah

Sorry for slacking on the blogging but it's been a busy and rough week. Anyway I wanted to blog about this earlier but just haven't had the time. Meet Jonah! He's an adorable 3mos. I had the opportunity to photograph and I had a blast doing it! There are so many great moments, here are a few of my favorites. "THANK YOU" Marie and Jerrod for being so fun, cooperative, and patient to work with capturing moments with Jonah :)

Oh, I mention previously we had to call in the Decatur Fire Dept. for some help :)

As you can see we got out of the storm in the nick of time. It was scary, exciting, and fun all at the same time!
