I hope you're having a great weekend! I'm back in town this week and it took me longer to post this part 2, so i apologize for that. Keeping it moving, I have quite a few pics to post so I hope you're sitting down with nothing pressing to do :)

Nadeea + Wellington say "I DO" Sneak Peak

Hi fellow bloggers,
I'm so excited about my next blog posting. This couple got married last weekend and it was awesome. For now I'm only posting one photo...I know, that sucks! PLEASE check back soon. Right now, I'm getting ready to leave for New Jersey to photograph a wedding, working with my awesome photographer friend Tracy. It's late and my plane is leaving in a few hours, literally. Gotta get at least a nap LOL. That's all it really is considering that I need to get up in just 3.5 hours....horrors!!! but hey that's part of the thrill of shooting destination weddings, the excitement, the adventure, oh and the lack of sleep preparing for the journey....gotta love it :)

Christy + Stefan Engagement Session

I want you to meet an Adorable Couple I photographed this past weekend, Christy + Stefan. I'm so crazy excited about photographing their wedding next month! I met Christy's finance for the first time at their engagement shoot this past weekend. Now I'm always saying "has anyone ever told you, you look like so and so?" So Stefan wasn't surprise when I asked him that same question. He kind of looked up at me up with a smiley face and said "yes, I get that all the time". He was all too familiar and reminded of people saying who he looks like. I'll let you guess who you think what celebrity Stefan looks like. :)

Anyway, I love to talk to the men and ask how they met or how he proposed and seen Christy told me the story of how they met, I wanted to hear Stefan version of how he proposed and I tell you it was soooooo romantic it made me weak in the knees. Of course it was a surprise to Christy but the story goes....he had rose petals on the floor leading to the living room so when Christy came home that's the first thing she saw, he then took her and sat her on the couch and began to talk their relationship and tell her how much he loves her, he got on his knees and then presented the ring to her and asked for her hand in marriage...awwhhh it was beautiful the way he told the story. No he didn't use eloquent words or do any theactrical special effects, it was just touching because it was straight from the heart...(seems like i've heard that in a Bryan Adams song...)anyway didn't mean to go too deep on you :) Here are some of my pics from their session. It was hard to choose from all the great photos they took and if I posted them all you'd definitely be mad at me for making you get the stiff butt from sitting in your chair so long LOL. Anyway, enough of my talking....I had a great time Christy and Stefan, can't wait until the wedding day!!!!

Skittles...taste the Rainbow

What a header for a posting. Well you'll understand why in a moment. I was invited to a bridal shower of my client and I learned something new that evening about her, besides being sweet, kind, and funny....I learned that Nadeea LOVES Skittles. Yep! that was the theme of her surprise bridal shower. Its those little things that make close girlfriends just that more special and warm and fuzzy all over. When I say she was truly surprise, I mean it. The story she was told was that she was going to another friends party and so we were all being a little loud conversing, laughing, catching up on whats been happening, and as Nadeea came through the door we all yelled "SURPRISE" and you could tell she was totally caught off guard. It was hilarious! Anyway here are a few pics from the shower I wanted to share.

we then ate, laughed, and talked some more but then came time for gift opening...yay!


Nadeea has sooooo many gifts...by the way this was a lingerie shower too...


I didn't want to show all the gifts but here are just a few, even though it was a lingerie we had those that wanted to be practical and of course thats always good too :)


Nadeea, thanked everyone for coming and participating in pulling off the surprise shower, but then there was one more thing we had to do...
