Some of you know and many of you don't know, that I LOVE to EAT, well let me re-state that: I love to try different new eating places. My favorite place to eat is HOUSTON'S, but me and a friend recently tried a new place and I loved it!!! The food especially!! The ambiance is cozy, and the decor is very cool. The Place is "VERVE"!! Sounds different, well it is different. Being an adventurist I decided to try it. Of course I took pictures to share with you, so scroll away as I'll tell you about this unique place.
First of all, it has three levels, the first floor is the bar/lounge where people can dance the night away, or take their ease and listen to jazz held on Wednesday evenings, they play live jazz and have complimentary appreztiers.
The Second Floor (Which is what interest me the most) is the Restaurant, that's where I went to try out some new food and as you can see it's pretty quaint and cozy.
Love the way they dressed the ceiling. How cool is that!
The Food was Delicious!!! and if you like to occasionally have a nice drink they have that too! I couldn't resist taking a picture of the food, table and glasses. The tables had this real funky cool metal swirl design.
I had to be nosy and check out the place from top to bottom and so I did. In my nosiness I notice some pretty cool things, like interesting Art Work and some nostalgic Light Fixtures.
This Art work looked pretty scary but cool. I decided to flashed it (which I hated to do) and then it wasn't scary anymore(hee, hee). The staircase leads up to the Third floor which leads to an open terrace as well as a lounge area. This was definitely a delicious experience and I give it a thumbs up especially for dinner. While we were there they have a DJ who set-up his turn table and spinned some records. He had played some pretty good old school music.....
Since I'm not a night owl, I knew it was time to go when my eyes started to get heavy. Until next time take care...
